Softpedia Auto Shutdown Manager Review
Once you've passed through all the tabs and configured all the settings you want, you'll realize how easy it is to have Auto Shutdown Manager do automatically some tasks that you would have been compelled to do by hand. When it's ready to shutdown the system, Auto Shutdown Manager will let you know and will allow you to postpone the procedure or cancel it. You don't have to be a computer ace to deal with this software and if you are really a beginner in this respect, you can always keep the default settings of the application and only set the shutdown time. You won't be flabbergasted by Auto Shutdown Manager's appearance because it isn't flashy, or adorned with beautiful skins and color schemes. It doesn't need to and I think this is the main thing about Auto Shutdown Manager: if it isn't strictly necessary, you shouldn't have it because little plus little equals more and simplicity is the keyword for this kind of background applications. Auto Shutdown Manager will alert you both visually and acoustically but only if you choose so, otherwise it will keep quiet and do the job it is supposed to do.

Chip Download Review
It supports networked environments and runs on clients and servers. Prevents unwanted shutdowns by analyzing applications , network clients - so servers are kept running as long as the clients run and for maintenance tasks, processes, time based actions, scheduled tasks, CPU & HDD utilization and much more. Makes administration tasks easy and increases the overall systems stability by auto logon, automatic restart, automatically suspend and restart of VMWare sessions before and after shutdowns.

This is where Auto Shutdown Manager comes into play. Though a useful software tool for anybody to own, it is especially helpful to larger organizations where it is hard to ensure that every computer owned is being shutdown or put into standby when not in use. Unlike the built in Windows Power Management, this tool makes it easier for computers in networked environments to be better managed because of common enterprise tasks such as backups and updates.

I am learning to shut down my computer if I leave it for more than 30 minutes. Sometimes you just get distracted like yesterday, where I completely forgot to turn off my computer. One day for one person is not significant, but what about the 1,000’s of people who never shut down their computer and the offices that never do as well. That’s alot of wasted energy and CO2! Billions of dollars are spent each year simply by not turning off your computer. Personally speaking, I could use some of those billions in my pocketbook!
