After 45 days Auto Shutdown Manager will convert into the freeware version. It will continue to work but the following advanced features are no longer available:

Automatic wake up of connected Servers
Automatic startup and suspend of Guest VMware instances on a Host System running Auto Shutdown Manager
Automatic wakeup and suspend using rules
Central Management of Auto Shutdown Manager Client in the network

The Free Version can still be uninstalled via GPO and will not impair the productivity of your users.
